McGee made the ultimate sacrifice by given his life in honor of this country. SSG McGee was our motivator! He kept our spirits lifted by telling jokes, some were funny some were not, yet we laughed anyway. SSG McGee met no stranger and those who knew him loved him. Upon ever mission, we would pray God keep us safe and John would throw up two fingers and scream REGULATORS MOUNT UP!!! His last words to me was " Smith love the ones that love you back"!! These words are forever imbedded in my heart along with his memories. I will forever be grateful for his dedication, his motivation as well as his friendship.
