Do not download the binkw32.dll DLL file individually from any "DLL download site." There are many reasons why downloading DLLs from these sites is never a good idea. If you need a copy of the file, it's always best to obtain it from its legitimate, original source. If you've already downloaded it, remove it from wherever you placed it and continue with the following steps.

Redownloading didn't help. What did help run the game was to actially delete all the *.bik files. So, definitely traceable to some problem with Bink. I can run the game now, no movies, but hey, it works!
I'm having an issue starting the game. I will click to open it and the it will freeze up and come up saying it has stopped working?? I don't even get as far as the main menu. I'm running windows 7 and am pretty sure my laptop is capable of running it. Can anyone help?
